What we collect

• Consent records: which form you used, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and when you subscribed and confirmed. We keep these to demonstrate that you asked to receive the newsletter.
• Your preferences, such as topics you choose to tell us about.
• Delivery information about emails we send you, such as whether a message was delivered, bounced or reported as spam.
• Technical data needed to run and protect the website, such as server logs that may include your IP address, kept for a limited time.

We do not collect your date of birth, phone number, precise location or payment details. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Why we use it

• To send you the newsletter you asked for, and service messages such as the confirmation email.
• To honor unsubscribes and keep people who opted out from being added again by mistake.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as fake or automated sign-ups.
• To meet our legal obligations and handle requests about your data.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for the newsletter, and on our legitimate interests for security and record keeping. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Partners and sharing

We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with partners or advertisers unless you separately opt in to a specific partner's offer. We use service providers to operate the service — for example our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). They process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days.
• Your subscription data is kept while you are subscribed.
• After you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, we keep only a minimal record needed to make sure we don't email you again.
• Server logs are kept for up to 30 days, security logs for up to 90 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To delete your data, use the request form. For other requests, email [email protected]. We will verify the request is yours and respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add cookies that are not strictly necessary in the future, we will ask for your consent first where required.

Security
